Is it free to open an ApnaPay account?
Yes. Opening an account is free and there is no minimum balance. Sending money to another ApnaPay wallet, paying bills and buying load are also free.
What do I need to sign up?
Only a Pakistani mobile number. You can start right away with a Basic account. To raise your limits, verify your CNIC in the app. It takes about two minutes.
Which banks can I send money to?
You can send to 16 banks, including HBL, UBL, MCB, Meezan Bank, Allied Bank and Bank Alfalah. You can also send to 6 microfinance banks and to JazzCash, Easypaisa, SadaPay and NayaPay wallets.
Is my money safe with ApnaPay?
Every login and payment needs your MPIN, fingerprint or Face ID. Your account works on one phone only, the app logs out by itself when you stop using it, and all data is encrypted. Read more about security.
I forgot my MPIN. What should I do?
Tap "Forgot MPIN" on the login screen. We send a code to your registered number, and you can set a new MPIN. After 5 wrong tries your account locks to keep it safe, and you can unlock it the same way.
How do I add money to my wallet?
Visit any ApnaPay agent, such as an Al Makkah Telecom outlet, and hand over cash. You can also add money from a linked debit or credit card, or ask someone to send money to your IBAN from their bank.
